In 2009 Provita published the book 'Una Mano a La Naturaleza: Conservando las especies amenezadas venezolanas' to document progress achieved under the auspices of the Iniciativa Especies Amanazadas (IEA) programme that was created in 2003 to promote investigation and actions related to Venezuelan endangered species.
